Herbert E. "Bill" Cochrane

Bill Cochrane, 91, of Morenci passed away Monday, May 28, 2012, at the Fulton Manor in Wauseon, Ohio. He was born on August 2, 1920,in Onsted the son of George & Winnifred (Ross) Cochrane. On June 28, 1941, in Reading he married Irene Aemisegger. She preceded him in death on December 25, 2010.

Bill has lived in the Morenci area since 1965, moving from Quincy. Bill farmed and also worked at Whiteford Valley Golf Course near Ottowa Lake.

Survivors include three daughters, Carol (Larry) Clymer of Wauseon, Ohio, Beverly (Don) Zuvers of Morenci and Sharon (Ernie) Hicks of Montpelier, Ohio; a son, Gary (Tammy) Cochrane of Wauseon; a daughter in law,Cherie Cochrane; fifteen grandchildren; thirty four great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.

Besides his wife, Irene, Bill was preceded in death by a son, Robert; two brothers, Ross and Wilfred Cochrane; a granddaughter, Joie Lee Redlawski; and a great great granddaughter, Savannah Hicks.

Funeral service will be at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jane Ream officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. There will be a visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
